Joliet Township High School District 204 assigns ordinary enrollment to Joliet Central or Joliet West, but two authorities define the map. The Will County Regional Office of Education regulates the district’s outer boundary; the District 204 board regulates the internal line between Central and West. The district warns that third-party interactive maps can be inaccurate and reviews addresses before registration. A prior junior high, municipal label, or nearest campus cannot substitute for that determination.

Pathways Campus and the Transition Center serve students outside the ordinary two-campus pattern without creating additional attendance areas. Pathways is an in-district daytime program entered through recommendations from special-education teams, behavioral-health teams, or administrators, followed by a family conference and student interview. The Transition Center serves students with disabilities ages 18–22 after graduation requirements have been completed when the individualized education program team determines that intensive vocational, community, or independent-living support remains necessary. Central and West form the geographic high-school system; Pathways and Transition are educational placements made through different decision processes.
