Belvidere Community Unit School District 100 Calendar 2026-2027

Belvidere Community Unit School District 100 is broadly organized around two secondary routes. Elementary students eventually enter Central Middle School and Belvidere North High School, or South Middle School and Belvidere High School. Everest High School is an alternative setting outside those two attendance-area pathways. Because the middle- and high-school pairings differ, an elementary assignment can influence a student’s later route.

That structure changes around the former Perry area in 2026–27. Students who attended Perry in grades K–4 during 2025–26 ranked new elementary choices; registration deadlines, capacity, and a family-based lottery governed placement, with siblings kept together and peer continuity considered when possible.

Perry’s 2025–26 fifth graders were handled separately. They were scheduled for Central Middle in 2026–27, while families living south of Jackson Street could contact registration about South Middle. Incoming kindergarten students use the revised boundary: homes north of Jackson Street, including the street itself, connect to Lincoln, Central, and Belvidere North; homes south of it connect to Washington Academy, South, and Belvidere High. Neither group belonged to the K–4 elementary lottery, and temporary placement or sibling accommodations should not be generalized to every later entrant.

Older school lists and boundary images can mislead families. Each Perry-related rule must be matched to the correct school year and student group. District 100 still has two main secondary pathways, but the elementary communities feeding them have been redistributed.
