Glenbard Township High School District 87 Calendar 2027-2028

Glenbard Township High School District 87 covers about 45 square miles in DuPage County. Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, and Lombard lie within the district, together with portions of Bloomingdale, Hanover Park, Addison, Downers Grove, Wheaton, and unincorporated areas. Six independent K–8 districts operate inside that territory, while District 87 divides ninth-grade enrollment among Glenbard East, North, South, and West. Neither a municipality nor the earlier K–8 district is a complete substitute for the high-school boundary search.

The boundary remains an active registration issue rather than a one-time feeder assumption. District 87 verifies every student's residency each year through an electronic process; households not verified automatically must provide documents before PowerSchool registration is opened. A student can remain in the same sender district or postal community while the Glenbard campus still depends on the property-level four-school map.

Transition services occupy a later stage. Eligible students ages 18–22 use northern and southern community sites and supports at the College of DuPage to work toward adult goals. The four Glenbard campuses organize ordinary residence enrollment; the transition network continues individualized services after the conventional high-school program.
