About Quincy Public Schools District 172
Quincy Public Schools District 172 has a simple ordinary progression: five elementary schools lead to Quincy Junior High and then Quincy Senior High. The additional names in the directory describe regional or specialized functions rather than extra stages in that sequence.
The Quincy Area Vocational Technical Center serves Quincy students and students sent by participating surrounding districts. Enrollment is coordinated through the home high school, and a student can spend part of the day at QAVTC while retaining the original district and graduation relationship.
